Everyone talks about Spring being a time of new beginnings, but for so many, that time is Autumn.  As the weather cools, this time of year represents hope.  They are surrounded with new faces, they bounce off new ideas with each other, as they come in feeling fresh and renewed off a well deserved break.  Autumn represents hope, and everyone in the building is striving for to find greatness.  They are inspired.

Simply put, Autumn is an exciting time.

It’s Football Season Baby!

(Who did you think I was talking about, educators?)

I couldn’t help but watch Thursday Night Football, as the NFL kicked off it’s new season.

Even in Korea, the kickoff of the new season is an exciting time.  (As a Dolphins fan, it’s one of the few times we don’t have a losing season.)

That’s how a lot of us feel when we go to our favorite websites, and it is just cluttered with absolute nonsense.  How many times have you gone onto a site, and been like, “Oh, why did they change this?  This looks awful!”  (I swear, Yahoo does it two to three times a year… Facebook at least does it annually)

More doesn’t always mean better.  I found that out as I was trying to reformat this blog for your viewing pleasure.  All these widgets, as I added and previewed, well, they just cluttered up the screen.

I ended up picking a design similar to what I used to have, just because the new designs were too flashy for my tastes.  As I learn more in this upcoming COETAIL course, I hope to learn how to make this a more viewer friendly format, but until I am extremely comfortable with all the new playbook terminology being thrown at me, I still just want to keep it simple.

Kind of like a rookie in training camp, trying to learn Sean Payton’s offense.
